Wellness at Prana Nordic

Rest. Reset. Reconnect — naturally.

At Prana Nordic at Sebago Lake, wellness is not a separate experience — it’s woven into your stay.

Through nature, stillness, and intentional rituals, each offering is designed to help you slow down, soften, and return to balance.

Ayurvedic Wellness

A more intentional form of restoration

Person receiving a Marma Therapy treatment on their shoulders from a therapist.

Rooted in one of the world’s oldest healing systems, these treatments are designed to calm the nervous system, nourish the body, and restore balance.

Offered in a way that feels grounded and accessible, each experience supports deep rest without requiring any prior knowledge of Ayurveda.

You don’t need to understand the practice to benefit — only to slow down enough to receive.

Wellness at Prana Nordic is not meant to feel scheduled or overwhelming.

Some guests choose a single treatment to unwind, while others build their stay around deeper restoration.

Your experience can be as simple or as immersive as you’d like — always aligned with rest, nature, and ease.

Signature Experiences

Abhyanga + Marma Therapy

Abyhanga is a deeply grounding full-body oil treatment using warm herbal oils to calm the nervous system, support circulation, and encourage deep relaxation. This experience is especially supportive for stress, fatigue, and feeling overstimulated.

Combined with Marma, a subtle and restorative treatment working with specific energy points in the body to release tension, improve flow, and support overall balance. Often described as deeply calming and grounding.

Shirodhara

A man lying on a massage table receiving an Ayurvedic Shirodhara treatment with a copper soaking jar suspended above his forehead while warm medicated oil is continuously pored during a holistic therapy session in a cozy, warmly lit room.

A continuous stream of warm oil gently poured over the forehead to quiet the mind and support deeper states of rest.

This treatment is known for its ability to ease mental tension, improve sleep, and create a profound sense of calm.

Swedana (Steam)

A person receiving a steam cabinet detox treatment, an Ayurvedic Swedana therapy to open the pores and relax the muscles.

A gentle herbal steam treatment designed to open the channels, support detoxification, and enhance the effects of oil therapies.

Often paired with other treatments for a more complete experience.

Heaven & Earth

A treatment designed to bring balance to both mind and body.

Abhyanga and Marma therapy are applied to the upper body followed by reflexology on the feet to support circulation and restore balance throughout the body.

Customized Session

A more individualized approach for those seeking deeper support.

Each session is thoughtfully designed based on your current state—whether you’re experiencing physical tension, mental fatigue, difficulty slowing down, or simply looking to deepen your reset.

This is not a traditional spa environment or a structured wellness program.

Instead, we offer a quieter, more intentional approach —
where your surroundings, your pace, and your experience all work together to support rest and renewal.

Whether you’re here for stillness, restoration, or deeper support through Ayurvedic therapies,
your stay is designed to meet you where you are.
